Jenny Green joined the Nebraska Alumni Association staff in 2009 as the assistant program director.  She is the advisor for Scarlet Guard (formerly known as Student Alumni Association) and oversees all UNL student programs. She also helps to plan Football Fridays, Husker Huddles and the alumni association’s Homecoming events. 

Upon graduating from the University of Nebraska in 2007 with a degree in Journalism/Advertising, Green moved to Naples, Fla., where she was the manager of operations for The Academy for Athletes, a life skills development program for the NFL and other professional organizations.

As an undergraduate, Green held internships at the Nebraska Alumni Association in alumni relations, and Saint Elizabeth Regional Medical Center in marketing. Green was a member of Nebraska’s Track & Field team and was a two-time Academic All-American, a four-time Big 12 Conference Pole Vault Champion and the 2004 Big 12 Freshman of the Year.

A Grand Island native, Jenny is happy to be back close to her family and working for the alumni association again.
