Enter our Homecoming 2009 Children's Art Contest!

Eligibility:

Children of alumni and friends in the following age groups are eligible to participate:

• Preschool or younger
• Grades K-1
• Grades 2-3
• Grades 4-5

Categories:

1. 300th consecutive Husker football sellout
2. A favorite UNL campus location or event (non-athletic)

Guidelines:

1. All art must be the exclusive work of the child without assistance from others.
2. Contestants may submit one entry per category.
3. A separate entry form must be enclosed with each piece of artwork submitted.
4. All artwork must be on white 8 ½ X 11 paper.
5. Contestants may use any kind of art medium (crayon, marker, pencil, etc.) to make their creation.
6. All entries must be received by September 1.
7. All entries will be displayed on campus during Homecoming at a location TBD.
8. All entries become property of the Nebraska Alumni Association at the time they are submitted. Due to the volume of entries we expect to receive, we will be unable to return artwork to the contestants. Artwork may be used on the alumni association’s Web site and/or printed in any of the association’s publications.
9. There is no purchase necessary and no cost to enter.

Judging:

Judging will take place by the alumni association staff and volunteers. Judges will select artwork based on creativity and general visual appeal.

Prizes:

Prizes will be awarded in each age group for each category. All participants will receive a certificate of participation and the opportunity to see their art displayed during Homecoming.
