Scarlet Guard members took advantage of the second annual Life 101 on March 10 at the Nebraska Champions Club. The event featured various workshops from resume review with UNL Career Services to mock interview sessions with professionals. A business fashion show put on by Banana Republic showed participants how to dress for an interview.
Students also learned the importance of networking by creating profiles for Husker Hire Link and LinkedIn. The evening concluded with a "Life After College" panel of Lincoln professionals in insurance, finance, career services and talent recruitment who answered questions and gave career tips. Students left with a career information packet.
