Career Coaching Sessions
All Nebraska alumni are eligible for a free consultation with our alumni career specialist in person, by phone or by Skype. Our specialist, Dr. Larry Routh, can answer your questions and provide guidance whether you are a recent graduate wondering where to start or a seasoned professional looking for a career change.  Additional sessions are available at no cost to members of the Nebraska Alumni Association.  (Fees may be charged for individuals desiring extensive or ongoing assistance.)

Meet Larry Routh, Ph.D., Alumni Career Specialist
Dr. Larry Routh recently retired from his post as Director of Career Services at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, a position he held from 1988 - 2012, with additional interim appointments as Director of Admissions and Assistant Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs.  Larry's previous work experiences have ranged from a family drive-in restaurant in Chappell, Neb., to working in human resources with a Fortune 500 company in Iowa.

Larry is a Nebraska native who completed a B.A. degree in Education at Kearney State College and a Ph.D. in Education at the University of Kansas.  Larry has served in higher education as a counselor, researcher, teacher and administrator at universities in Kansas, Iowa, and Nebraska.
